Terroir Fribourg is pleased to host and welcome you to the Rèchtoran ! A two floors canteen with 500 seats, facing the lake, waiting for your visit in the Jardin Doret. Blend of tradition and know-how, the Rèchtoran serves local traditional products of Fribourg.

An arbour will be constructed on the fountain at the heart of the Jardin Doret. At the Lyo’Bar, you will be able to enjoy a glass of wine while dancing, singing and tasting some sweet and salty culinary delights from Fribourg, to eat in or take-away.


Paradi tèréchtre

Voyage, voyage ! The Paradi tèréchtre is an odyssey allowing the visitors to experience the dynamism and innovative spirit of the Canton of Fribourg. With its University, Hautes Ecoles, its professional schools, Fribourg is proud to be the Swiss canton with the largest proportion of young people.

Differents activities are imagined to make you experience Fribourg as we know it today between modernity, culture and tradition.


Two pavilions give life to seasons through highlights of the Canton of Fribourg. The first one represents the spring and summer atmospheres. The second one unveals the fall sensations followed by the winter ones. Season after season, you will be emerged on Fribourg's lands, thanks to this one-of-a-kind and contemporary creation!

Outside the pavilion, you will become the actor of your own interactive Poya, the Paradi tèréchtre. Thanks to this cutting-edge technology, your moves will be detected and linked with a digital character that will come to life before your eyes!


Lè j'armayi

The Fête des Vignerons celebrates the friendship between winemakers and armaillis by offering a place of honour to the Canton of Fribourg and particularly to the near Veveyse District.

Fribourg, the Veveyse District in particular, has the youngest population in Switzerland. It was therefore natural that young people, assisted by volunteers, welcome and guide the visitors of this place, by providing them with information about the solid and historical bonds between the armailli and the winemakers, all with a pinch of humour.


Source of pride for the Canton of fribourg, the Armaillis will welcome you every day on a stable hosting more than 40 cows. They will show you and teach you how to milk a cow, as well as introducing you to the production of Gruyere cheese according to an ancestral ritual.

Other farm animals will be present for the biggest pleasure of the children!

A bandstand will host, every day, one or several choirs and/or musical ensembles from all over the Canton of Fribourg. Performing from 12:30pm to 2pm and then again from 6pm, they will enliven the "Apero time".
